Wells Fargo India & Philippines is a critical component of Wells Fargo’s strategy to leverage distinct advantages in doing business in a global environment. Wells Fargo India & Philippines is primarily an extension of the technology, operations, and corporate support teams of Wells Fargo. It engages in application development and support, testing, other technology functions, international operations, knowledge support, and middle and back-end banking process solutions for a wide spectrum of Wells Fargo’s needs. It currently has offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Manila.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Marketing Senior Manager who will be reporting to the Senior Vice President of Agency Management/Marketing. This role leads and oversees the management of cross-functional teams in Public Affairs. These teams focus on delivering strategies, plans and execution of customer-centric programs, services and projects to support various businesses across Wells Fargo. This leader role will focus on leading, coaching and ensuring teams meet their objectives, proactively making recommendations on optimizations for efficiencies and ensuring teams stay current with industry trends/capabilities and building strong relationships/partnerships across Public Affairs and the company. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing/agency leader who thrives at the intersection of digital innovation, strategic marketing/brand storytelling and creative development. This position is based in Manila, with an in-office requirement of 5 days per week and will work during the U.S. eastern time zone.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of marketing professionals and managers
  • Engage and influence potential business partners, vendors and functional management to obtain resources and ensure alignment with wells Fargo strategy, policies and business line objectives
  • Manage the identification and development of data guided marketing strategies and programs to drive new customer acquisition
  • Integrate plans and programs across business channels or regions, develop appropriate tracking, measurement, evaluation and test and learn opportunities
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of marketing team to implement projects and programs that are wide reaching, significant in scope, complexity and risk for a large region
    or product group
  • Interpret and develop legal, compliance, and privacy regulations and policies for sales design, development, distribution, digital marketing plans, regional marketing, sales support, sponsorships, promotions and sales campaigns
  • Collaborate with and influence functional management, vendor relationships, technology, customer care, alliance partners, multiple business groups and vendors on strategic marketing initiatives across the enterprise
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Marketing
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Candidate must have 6+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, etc. within a senior leadership capacity.
  • Candidate must have a working knowledge or experience in AI tools / platforms.
  • Experience working for an advertising, branding, or marketing agency
  • Experience managing complex digital and integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Experience managing relationships and collaborating with cross functional partners
  • Experience consulting and influencing senior leaders, partners, and peers
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that enhances understanding at all levels
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide projects and concurrent work streams


Job Expectations:

  • Lead and develop management and cross-functional teams with focus on delivering strategies, plans and implementation of customer centric programs, services and projects for cross business functions that have an impact on business lines and the enterprise
  • Identify opportunities and strategies to improve customer experiences
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, speed to market and integration across the teams
  • Lead team by making strategic decisions to resolve, assess and mitigate vendor operational risk to meet and achieve business or performance deliverables
  • Ensure teams follow legal, compliance, and privacy regulations and policies and processes for managing risk
  • Look for ways to proactively drive digital operational excellence
  • Collaborate with leaders across Public Affairs and the company, vendor relationships and internal or external business groups
  • Engage and influence potential business partners, vendors and functional management to obtain resources and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies, policies and business/department objectives
  • Integrate plans and programs across business channels and teams, develop appropriate tracking, measure, evaluation and test and learn opportunities
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of teams to implement projects that are wide reaching, significant in scope, complexity and risk
  • Ensure teams stay fully integrated with U.S. team partners (part of our current department model)
  • Lead and coach a team of experienced managers and cross-functional or virtual teams
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Marketing
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
