About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager in the Commercial Bank to lead the strategy and design of the digital products and services that we deliver to our internal and external customers.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives including establishing marketing programs for new products or enhancements
- Conduct market research and market results-oriented analysis for major products and services
- Review and analyze complex major product lines and services
- Implement change delivery solutions for the portfolio's technology process work of low to moderate complexity
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations of global market dynamics, trends, and regulatory impact
- Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team to resolve issues and achieve project goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
- identify , evaluate, and prioritize the biggest pain points affecting our business and our customers to develop the product roadmap and manage the backlog
- Define the requirements via user stories and acceptance criteria to implement the solution and collaborate with technology and other functions to execute
- Enable successful deployment of features, including defining test cases, supporting testing, reviewing and accepting work, and ensuring it meets defined quality standards
- Develop a deep level knowledge and understanding of both the business and the technology products supported
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives in order to make recommendations and proposals on solutions
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include business growth, efficiency, customer experience, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate and consult with stakeholders, customers, and partners to continuously gather feedback, identify needs, and align solutions
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of product features, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners, removing roadblocks and resolving conflicts as needed
- Measure and report on product performance and progress towards strategic goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment, including internationally
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience working in an agile software development environment and end-to-end product delivery (SDLC), leading Sprint planning, writing user stories, detailed requirements in acceptance criteria, holding demos, wireframing, etc.
- Ability to understand complex business situations / problems and experience in problem solving & analysis working with end users to understand current state / pain points
Job Expectations:
- Experience with SQL, reporting platforms, and technical functional skills
- Experience with Commercial Banking, Risk, Regulatory compliance
- Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in consumer and small business banking, consumer lending, commercial banking and wealth and investment management.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) skills, Power BI are desirable.
