About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Lead Business Execution Consultant to be a part of the Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) Strategy & Execution team. This role involves supporting the execution of the DAR transformation roadmap, with key focus on Risk & controls, managing strategic projects, and developing frameworks to assess risks associated with reports and analytics deliverables.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the execution of the target operating model focusing on establishing a robust controls framework

  • Work closely with Risk & Control partners in reviewing processes and controls, including taking an impt role in the creation of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)

  • Promote a risk & control mindset across the DAR organization through education, issue review forums, root cause analysis, among others

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, mainly looking at automated QA and other services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management/ Execution experience in a complex regulatory environment

  • Strong Risk & Control background including experience with the RCSA process

  • Strong Change Management / Program Management expertise (PMP certification or eqv.)

  • Stong communication skills, able to work closely with Audit, Legal, Risk and Control partners

  • Training development background to drive a risk & control mindset, as well as promoting a continuous learning culture

  • Knowledge of various data/analytics tools including Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization tools

  • Proven self-motivated and comfortable operating in large transformational programs as part of collaborate teams

  • 5+ years’ experience working within the Financial Services Industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the financial services industry
