About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Credit Product Sales Specialist to join the Secured Lending group, part of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in sourcing new clients or growing existing relationships in a given product or specialty
  • Understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships
  • Lead moderately complex transactions in partnership with coverage teams for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients; lead internal coordination and submit transactions to management or independent risk for approval
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty’s business objectives
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in Asset-Based Lending (ABL) and Factoring, with a strong understanding of staffing, government contracting, and consumer product sectors.
  • Understanding of Portfolio Management and underwriting
  • Good PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Energetic, quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently, organizing and managing multiple priorities


Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.   • Ability to travel up to 25% the time with short notice

Pay Range:

  • New York City, New York: $115,900 - $206,100 USD Annual
