Senior Cross Asset Sales Representative

Wells Fargo is currently seeking a Senior Cross-Asset Sales Representative responsible for the distribution of multiple Fixed Income Products (Credit, Municipals, Structured Products, and Rates) to a base of corporations and public entity institutional clients.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the distribution of Fixed Income Products to a primarily corporate and municipality investor base
- Develop contacts with existing and potential customers
- Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and provide products and services that fit the institution’s needs
- Maintain a daily dialogue and proactively work to strengthen client relationships
- Ensure seamless and efficient client trade settlements, and timely response to operational inquiries.
- Provide ideas, strategy, market information, etc. to facilitate trading activity between Wells Fargo and our investor base
- Aggressively work to build strong relationships and mutual trust with internal business partners, other salespeople, banking, traders, strategists, syndicate, and management to enhance client relationship
- Some travel, client meeting and industry conferences
- Be meticulous regarding all details, adaptive to a fast-paced environment, conducting client business with a keen focus on accuracy and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to the resolution of highly sensitive client inquiries
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Act as a mentor to less experienced individuals and may assist with their development
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Fixed Income Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Direct Sales support experience in Financial Services
- Previous trading floor experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Fixed Income Products
- Strong understanding of trade settlements and operations functions
- Attention to detail, adaptive to a fast-paced environment and able to perform under pressure with high level of self-motivation and energy
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed
- Registration for FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- This position is a commission-based sales opportunity.
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
