About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the Commercial Banking/Corporate & Investment Banking Digital Product Operations team to lead and support product management teams aiming to enhance the client experience and security by improving and simplifying foundation capabilities such as access & authorization, customer communications, fraud, and alerts. Expertise in Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), process engineering, outstanding leadership skills, and the proven ability to partner with digital stakeholders, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement, will be determining factors in selection.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead strategic execution for the Fraud & Authentication Risk-Aligned Unit (RAU) within CBCIB Digital, driving initiatives that enhance fraud prevention, identity assurance, and operational resilience.
  • Design and enhance the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework for CBCIB Digital, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Evaluate inherent risks, control effectiveness, and residual risk to support risk-informed decision-making and strengthen the control environment.
  • Partner with Control teams to identify, document, and validate controls that mitigate key risks across digital fraud and authentication processes.
  • Embed risk considerations early in the product development lifecycle to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential issues before production deployment.
  • Lead and coordinate annual RCSA refresh activities, ensuring all post-affirmation changes are accurately captured and transparently communicated.
  • Guide process and control owners through testing activities including EBCE, IT&V, and Audit, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • Apply process engineering principles to streamline operations, reduce risk exposure, and enhance customer experience in digital authentication workflows.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex risk and control concepts into actionable insights.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through strong leadership and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis and recommendations
  • Uses analysis to identify and define business requirements related to various risk programs
  • Experience leading risk management programs, and experience with digital platform/product redesign definitions and launches
  • Strong relationship development skills
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Experience in product management/development, program management, strategy, marketing and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint) skills

Job Expectations:
