Equity Finance Product Manager (Executive Director)

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a senior lead securities product manager to join the product management team to lead new products and solutions in support of Equity Finance (EF) business. EF is positioned as a strategic investment area for pursuing new client segments and expanding the current offering to Hedge Funds, Market Makers and other Investment managers. Coverage will span Market Maker Clearing Services, Prime Brokerage client solutions, Enhanced Margin leverage offering, Delta 1 Swaps and Transaction processing.
In this role, you will:
- Lead highly complex initiatives for financial, client and risk management within Securities Product Management
- Identify the origination, modeling, portfolio management and all risk management including compliance and operational risk
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex initiatives that require an in-depth evaluation
- Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Make decisions requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Conduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary and provide research on relevant industry trends
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Securities Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Extensive experience in product delivery covering Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives asset classes (options, Delta 1 Swaps, Futures.)
Direct experience in Technology, Product Development and/or operations capacity in Options Market Maker and Clearing is a key differentiator
Experience in product delivery covering Financing life cycle, Risk and Margining, Client solutions and/or Securities trade execution, settlement and clearing
Innovative thought leader, with leadership qualities to build consensus and drive results
Ability to quickly understand the current platform and align with future roadmap for the products
Lead product delivery for few key initiatives, building partnerships with support functions including technology, operations, finance, credit, market risk, legal, compliance, and back-office teams
Drive solutions that directly benefit the business revenue, control environment and/or efficiency
Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel (financial modeling, macros, pivot tables, lookups, SQL/VBA)
FINRA Series 7 Registration preferred, but not required
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00Benefits
