About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Market Risk Specialist for Enterprise Counterparty Risk Management (ECRM) Oversight. ECRM Oversight is an Independent Risk Management team responsible to provide counterparty credit risk oversight and credible challenge for traded products over the full product life cycle.


In this role, you will:

  • Develop, enhance and review/ monitor counterparty risk reports for traded product portfolios.
  • Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting, including investigating counterparty credit risk system or model issues then provide potential improvement.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis (stress testing, scenario and portfolio analysis) to support risk management decision making and/or management inquiries.
  • Work with various internal trading desks, credit underwriting and risk teams to review transactions structures, remediate issues and develop enhancements.
  • Assist in the preparation of counterparty credit risk presentations and internal credit documents (policies, procedures, memos) for senior management.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of market risk, Capital Markets, desk analyst, trading, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Financial Industry/Banking background
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Ability to independently prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Traded Securities and Derivative Products (types, pricing and risks)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
