About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Business Execution Consultant to serve as the Application Business Owner (ABO) for mission-critical commercial card platforms. This role is responsible for driving business outcomes through the effective management of technology capabilities, ensuring platforms are aligned to enterprise goals, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
The ideal candidate combines business acumen, execution discipline, and cross-functional leadership to drive enhancements, prioritize roadmaps, and serve as the accountable business lead for all platform-related initiatives, partnering closely with Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, and Client Experience teams.
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Background in Operations, Project Management, Data Analysis, and/or Strategic Planning
- Experience working on transformational initiatives, including automation and platform modernization in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of Commercial Credit Cards
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, critical thinking, and resourcefulness to identify and resolve problems and incidents
- Ability to work effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a dynamic team environment, with flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability
- Advanced organizational skills with high diligence and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Jira including story and feature creation and backlog management
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) skills
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work on-site at approved location at least three days a week
