About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join our Real Estate Securitization and Capital Markets Origination team.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives and develop business relationships with borrowers and mortgage bankers with broad impact
- Act as key participant within a specific geographic area in Commercial Mortgage Origination
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that drive the Mortgage Origination team to meet functional area objectives while leveraging solid understanding of commercial mortgage origination
- Make decisions in building client relationships for complex products requiring strong understanding of functional area objectives and commercial mortgage origination that influence and lead Commercial Mortgage Origination teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically engage, collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues, develop client relationships, and achieve business objectives within Commercial Mortgage Origination functional area
- Serve as an advisor to secondary market, investors, and rating agencies
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Origination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years commercial mortgage-backed securities origination
- Prior experience developing relationships with brokers and direct borrower relationships to source referrals of commercial mortgage-backed securities loans
- Prior experience originating and underwriting commercial mortgage-backed securities loans, including in-depth interactions with rating agencies and investors.
- Experience reviewing loan documents for commercial mortgage-backed securities loans
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel (financial modeling, macros, pivot tables, lookups, SQL/VBA)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$138,500.00 - $287,600.00Benefits
