Retail Design Lead, Branded Environments

About this role:
Reporting to the head of Brand Design and Experience, this role is responsible for the creative development and physical brand expression of our retail (branch) locations. This includes interior and exterior design, signage, wayfinding systems, and the development of brand standards. As an individual contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with the Workplace Brand Environment Designer (focused on corporate administrative spaces) and the Brand Experience Designer (focused on multisensory brand expression) to ensure a cohesive and unified brand experience across all physical environments. This position can sit in Charlotte, NC; New York, NY or San Francisco, CA and offers a hybrid work schedule. The Wells Fargo job profile is Lead Marketing Consultant.
In this role, you will:
Serve as a subject matter expert and create a unified brand experience for retail (branch) locations
Design branded interior and exterior experiences, including signage, wayfinding, and customer journey mapping
Develop and maintain environmental design standards and playbooks
Provide executive oversight for the end-to-end implementation of design concepts
Manage design and fabrication agencies, including writing creative briefs and evaluating deliverables
Partner with key stakeholders and design agencies to ensure cohesive execution of brand experiences
Ensure designs align with broader brand identity guidelines and branded environment standards
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience designing large-scale retail branded environments
Experience with fabrication methodology for interior and exterior design elements
Experience leveraging customer behavior data to drive the decision-making process
Experience working with and interpreting architectural or mechanical drawings
Experience managing relationships and collaborating with external agency partners
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers
Experience managing digital design standards and guidelines

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
