The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Human Resources Technology (HRIT) provides technology support for employee focused applications and processes, including payroll, benefits, learning and recruiting. We elevate and enhance the employee experience through smart solutions and tooling, enabling our teams to be more productive.

HRIT is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the team supporting HR Incentive Compensation applications. The chosen individual will be responsible for supporting a team of technology professionals who analyze, develop and support technology solutions for critical incentive compensation functions. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate competency in the areas of collaborative problem solving, effective consultation, and critical analysis of business case, requirements, and design.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
  • Support delivery of non-functional requirements related to both on premise and vendor hosted applications
  • Support of the full SDLC process related to a database application and PowerBI hosted reports
  • Support Varicent’s Incentive Compensation Management system and ELT product
  • Demonstrate an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in using Confluence and Jira
  • Demonstrate an ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of systems analysis or design experience
  • 4+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 3+ years of client relationship management experience
  • 3+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile
  • 1+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday)
  • 1+ years of Jira and Confluence experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud PowerBI
  • 1+ years of experience with incentive compensation
  • Knowledge of Varicent's Incentive Compensation Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains
  • Experience supporting both on premise and vendor hosted (SaaS) applications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with Jira
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of business


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed
  • Ability to work on-site at approved location 3 days/week

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$73,100.00 - $129,900.00
