In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of oil, gas and renewable energy asset managers and associates
- Perform asset research, valuation, and on-going review activities in order to assess risk and formulate and support account acceptance and holding related decisions, and to ensure compliance with fiduciary standards and Wells Fargo's investment policy
- Identify and recommend opportunities for lease negotiations, execution of division orders, joint interest billings, sale of assets and appraisals while developing and leading new business strategies for team
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding complex portfolios of oil, gas and renewable energy assets
- Interpret and develop compliance with fiduciary standards and Wells Fargo investment policies for executing asset research, valuation, and ongoing review activities
- Communicate the recommendations, decisions and concepts derived from research to business executives, attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and Wells Fargo's internal professionals
- Act as asset manager for large or complex trust asset portfolios holding oil, gas and renewable energy assets
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Oil, Gas and Mineral (OGM) asset management team in the Denver market. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team of professionals managing a portfolio of complex mineral, royalty and leasehold assets with a strong focus on fiduciary duty, client service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of oil and gas asset management, exceptional team leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments, including trust, legal and wealth management. Proven experience in strategic oversight, business growth, risk mitigation and compliance will be essential for this role.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with wealth management and asset management
- Experience working with trusts and estates
- Experience with oil, gas and mineral management
- Experience in trust oil, gas and mineral asset administration
- Experience closing and selling assets, and arranging for land/mineral appraisals
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Negotiating mineral lease experience
- Relationship management and asset management (and/or property management) experience in an environment serving private, high net worth clients (not institutional).
- Proven ability to manage mineral assets in a consultative fashion for clients and professionally executing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and/or project management assignments for various property types and other complex assignments
- Registered Professional Landman or Certified Professional Landman (AAPL) or Certified Mineral Manager (NARO)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance client relationships leading to increased revenue
- Sound judgment, problem solving, and risk assessment in the application of analytical conclusions and management recommendations
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations that demonstrate sound rationale, experience and judgment
- Experience in a client facing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00Benefits
