About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Execution Consultant in Card Merchant Services and Personal Loans
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with Analytical tools such as SAS, R, SQL, or other data management reporting and query tools
- Knowledge and understanding of Tableau
- Experience creating ad hoc and re-occurring reporting for business purposes
- Ability to tell a story with data to non-technical audiences, identify and solve business problems, and act as a strategic analytical partner
- Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
- Financial Service Industry experience
- Demonstrated abilities to support driving results through actionable and insightful analytics
- Analytical query experience and ability to write moderately complex analytical queries
- Extensive understanding and proven experience in research, analysis and/or data visualization.
- Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- Analytic support for Credit Card account statements, plastic issuance and pricing strategies for various credit card portfolios
- Perform non-monetary transaction analytics for strategic credit card business initiatives
- Provide leadership in the identification and development of new research concepts and designs
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- Provide updates on project logs, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews
- Mentor or manage less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
