About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced project manager to provide end-to-end support managing the PSS Content process. This position serves as an experienced, independent project manager and consultant. The Senior Communications Consultant partners closely with the sales and product teams to completely understand project requirements, holds partners accountable to timelines, and provides a high-quality, customized deliverables. We seek an independent, detail-oriented professional with a high degree of flexibility, accountability, and responsibility.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or execute communication-based initiatives and activities
  • Implement communications strategies to promote and protect Wells Fargo’s reputation
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
  • Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
  • Determine areas of strength or opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Ensure information is consistent with our brand message, business objectives, and stylistic standards
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements
  • Review and analyze basic or tactical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years treasury and/or financial services experience
  • Strong independent project management, collaboration, and partnership
  • Strong presentation, communication, and execution skills
  • Extremely high level of organization, attention to detail and exceptional time management
  • Proven ability to define, develop, lead, and execute upon strategic initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency
  • Experience developing strategies, managing conflicting priorities, and influencing stakeholders with ability to innovate
  • Ability to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding and drive strategic change
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
  • Ability to distill difficult concepts and translate them into clearly written communications
