In this role you will:
Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.

Wells Fargo’s Structured Products Group (“SPG”), part of the Markets division in CIB, provides direct structured lending in addition to the underwriting and distribution of asset-backed securities for clients who access the bond markets through securitizations. The India SPG team works as an extension of the global SPG team across a broad range of asset classes and covering large domestic and international clients including Corporates, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Mortgage and Real Estate finance, and investment funds.

The Business Execution role supports SPG’s COO and Portfolio Management teams, and involves initiatives ranging from data management, credit administration, change management, control/risk management, reporting at senior management / regulator level to driving transformation/efficiency projects across SPG. The successful candidate will work closely with SPG’s global team members located in Bangalore and the U.S. The role involves significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of the business.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired qualification:

    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of business-critical data and analysis to SPG management for decision-making, regulatory, and internal reporting
    • Resolve data integrity issues across various data sets by partnering closely with technology, credit, onshore partners and other data teams
    • Work on medium to long-term projects focused on business analysis, process improvements, and management reporting, covering performance and risk aspects
    • Prepare and validate recurring business reports, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions to maintain data sanctity
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of SPG data flows to confidently respond to management queries and offer value-added insights
    • Drive automation and process efficiencies by leveraging tools like VBA, Python, or other workflow optimization solutions

    Job Expectations:

    • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification. CFA certification or progress toward it is a plus
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in a Business Execution, Project Management, Portfolio Management, or COO function within a bank or financial institution
    • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – are essential
    • High attention-to-detail with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
    • Good understanding of credit products; knowledge of securitization or asset-backed finance is a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is an advantage
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
    • Willingness to work in a partial U.S. shift to align with business needs
