Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.

The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in New York, NY.

Job Role and Responsibility: Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management across strategic planning, investment planning and project delivery, risk management program execution, space and facilities planning and management, and resiliency and recovery planning and execution. Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions. Manage regulatory preparation interactions for the executive including for EMEA and APAC regulatory interactions. Oversee Corporate & Investment Banking COO Risk Committee, COO Management Committee, International Management Committee, International Operating Committee, International Risk & Control Committee, regional legal entity & Board meeting agendas, organisation, preparation etc. and drive any action items. Track, action and deliver CIB Operating Committee tasks and actions. Work with the legal entity CEOs, branch managers or other representatives of regulated legal entities maintain relationships with regulators, central banks, and government officials throughout the regions. Support the governance teams on legal entity requirements and the executive as a Board member for Wells Fargo Securities International Limited, Wells Fargo Bank International U.C. and Wells Fargo International Banking Corporation. Primary coordinator for visiting Operating Committee members to the International regions. Liaison with independent chair of legal entity boards and non-executive directors and deliver any action items set by the non-executives. Track the executive’s execution for strategic and BAU initiatives that are large scale and cross organizational. Strategically engage with senior leaders across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 2 days per week. Position required to appear in person at the location listed.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in a senior level position working with C suite individuals and senior stakeholders in a multinational corporation.

Specific skills required:

  • Management experience independently overseeing organizations and with strategic/ transformational team reorganizations.
  • Experience with professional level communications for internal and external engagements for C suite level;
  • Experience operating as a senior official overseeing multifaceted administrative functions across all levels of reporting;
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority Senior Manager Regime;
  • Expertise with legal entity structures within U.S. and European companies, including the underlying regulatory requirements;
  • Experience liaising with global clients and stakeholders in the financial industries;
  • Experience liaising with governmental officials representing multinational companies, including diplomatic and regulatory bodies;
  • Experience coordinating corporate events for internal and corporate stakeholders, and external client events with 100+ attendees
  • Experience with European financial regulatory structure;
  • Experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, and business operations.

Salary: $167,000 - $260,000
