About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
- Managing and leading the EFIA Centre of Excellence team efforts and initiatives
- Provide analytical insights for the entire Network Management with deep insights towards the cash and securities market within the regions
- Assist in Control and Regulations: raising awareness, with collaboration and creating efficiencies with lines of businesses (LOB) across the Wells Fargo enterprise in accordance with Network Management’s strategy, established policy and ensure all relevant procedures are in compliance with market regulations.
- Develop a capability center to analyze the volumes and costs of each EFIA, including invoice collection, consumption and meaningful proactive reporting.
- Help enhance the efficiency of our process and monitoring framework - Service Level Agreements (SLA), KPIs, etc., in conjunction with the Network Management team and other LOBs
- Assist with preparation and review of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and/or Requests for Information (RFI) undertakings to help drive service provider reviews, selection, analysis of volumes globally and any associated reporting needs.
- Work closely with the Head of Network Management to deliver ongoing projects; including, but not limited to:
- Assess and update both regional and global policies and procedures related to Nostros as needed
- Assist in creating efficiencies, challenge account requests and requirements in line with Nostro rationalization plans to exhibit cost control and process efficiencies as well as drive a project management approach relevant to Network Management’s key deliverables and timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Overall experience of 12+ years in Banking domain
- Minimum 4+ years' experience within Global Custodian, Broker-Dealer or Network Management areas covering the Payments, Cash Management and securities industry.
- Minimum 3+ years of People Management/Team Handling experience is required.
- Ability to drive efficiency (cost savings or avoidance).
- Detailed knowledge on SWIFT, Securities Products and the clearing and settlement practices.
- Experience in provider service due diligence and monitoring relevant to NWM function.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience, including leading projects that implement major product deliverables and enhancements.
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and process re-engineering skills; able to see issues at both a high-level and in detail.
- Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of assignments.
Job Expectations:
- Required to provide meaningful insights to the leadership and ability to create dashboards exhibiting a high level of focus on the underlying patterns and trends
- Should be competent in SWIFT and Reconciliation framework and with a good knowledge on Excel and PowerBI tool
- Ability to work and lead the team for successful execution on Key projects with teams across locations
- Ability to work in flexible shifts (UK or US times)
- Clearly articulate and promptly escalate key matters and issues.
