About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to support our Auto space within Consumer Lending. This individual contributor will help enhance the Auto originations experience through agile product management, data-driven decision-making, and a focus on dealer and customer impact. The role will support product discovery and delivery across underwriting, funding, and identity-related challenges, contributing to scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will:
Support the development of business requirements and product design for moderately complex business and technical needs
Manage product strategy and execution for Auto originations, with a focus on underwriting, funding, and identity-related processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, prioritize backlog, and deliver enhancements to technology and processes
Conduct product discovery using customer insights, business analytics, and market research
Assist in developing decision-making frameworks to evaluate product options and drive alignment
Contribute to product positioning and value proposition development for internal and external stakeholders
Partner with design teams to support customer journey mapping and user experience improvements
Maintain initiative roadmaps and track progress against product goals and KPIs
Participate in build-versus-buy analysis and vendor interactions as needed
Support operational implementation in partnership with change management, sales, and operations
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and stakeholders across the organization
Engage with delivery teams, scrum masters, and project managers to ensure successful execution
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Auto Finance, preferably in underwriting or funding
Familiarity with credit bureau analysis and loan originations, ideally in indirect auto lending
Experience managing product backlogs, defining epics and features, and supporting cross-functional delivery
Experience working in Agile product management methodologies
Understanding of cost-benefit analysis, P&L impact, and business outcomes
Experience with microservice-based architecture, including microservices, domain-driven design, and micro front-end frameworks
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to evaluate solutions and inform product decisions
Experience collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk teams
Ability to support product design and stakeholder engagement
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
This position offers a hybrid work schedule
