About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Associate.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in low-risk initiatives within Risk Analytics
- Review process production, and model documentation in alignment with policy, analyzing trends in current population
- Receive direction from manager
- Exercise judgment within Risk Analytics while developing understanding of analytic models, policies, and procedures
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to manager and experienced managers
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Join the Independent Quality Assurance (IQA) team within the Corporate Risk Reporting & Analysis (CRRA) group.
- Conduct report-level and dashboard testing in alignment with established quality assurance standards.
- Reconcile CRRA report outputs with authoritative data sources based on defined business requirements.
- Perform independent recalculations to validate the accuracy of reported information.
- Review report content to ensure compliance with quality control guidelines.
Maintain effective communication with the reporting team to stay informed about report updates and changes. - Deliver timely and comprehensive reporting of QA results to the reporting team.
- Contribute to low-risk initiatives within the Risk Analytics function.
- Review production processes and model documentation to ensure alignment with policy, and analyze trends within current data populations.
- Operate under the guidance of the manager while exercising sound judgment within Risk Analytics.
- Develop a working understanding of analytic models, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the manager and senior leadership.
- 1–3 years of experience in Operational Risk, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of professional experience, education, training, or military service.
- Proficiency in business intelligence and workflow tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.
- Strong technical aptitude with proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, high initiative, and strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct reconciliation activities and effectively report findings.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Job Expectations:
- Should be in office for 3 days and for 8 hours.
