About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Liquidity Funding Management Analyst to support liquidity risk reporting (2052a, LCR, NSFR, RLAP, ILST), and data management and other projects related to Derivative and FX products. The ideal candidate has a strong risk mindset, advanced traded product knowledge, experience with SQL, and enjoys working with data. Experience with Derivative & FX products is required. We are looking for a self-motivated person who learns quickly and enjoys taking on challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively is crucial.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives, including those that are cross functional with broad impact as well as targeted Derivatives and FX projects
- Act as consultant to finance, accounting and Business Line management on matters related to firms' liquidity and funding position
- Manage, measure, analyze and report on the firm’s liquidity position, including developing funding and liquidity management strategies
- Provide overall advisory on treasury finance liquidity and funding management
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors and ensure data quality and establish controlled processes
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies and accounting and consulting firms
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues, achieve goals and make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient liquidity and funding management practices that meet internal control standards
- Interact with internal customers, guide other teammates and make recommendations to more experienced group members and management
- Develop effective presentations to an array of internal stakeholders, including senior executives and relevant committees
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics
- 5+ years of experience working at a large financial institution
- Deep understanding of derivatives and FX products, including options, futures, swaps and structured products.
- Financial analysis or accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior.
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.
- Experience with general ledgers and accounting policies
- Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00Benefits
