Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant for our Corporate Real Estate Workplace Strategy Team within the Chief Operating Office (COO). Learn more about our career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
- Develop real estate portfolio strategies by leading and partnering with many different stakeholders including business lines, transaction management, construction management, and property management technology among others to develop real estate recommendations
- Develop building and/or market real estate strategies for the eastern United States office portfolio consisting of ~20MM square feet across multiple asset classes
- Review and analyze market trends, business requirements, space utilization and other factors to support portfolio effectiveness
- Develop real estate strategies leveraging data that align with the companies’ goals focused on efficient utilization of space and creating investment strategies that functionally support the business
- Act as a change agent to support evolving workplace protocols, standards, and space allocation methodologies
- Collaborate with cross functional teams within real estate, key partners, businesses, and external parties aligning with operational needs.
- Prepare and present real estate strategies using relevant data to support recommendations to executive leadership
- Align strategies with internal metrics and guidelines based on seat utilization, amenities, business requirements and type of work functions
- Conduct site visits, market research and feasibility studies to evaluate properties and identify opportunities aligned with industry trends and strategic objectives
- Act as an advisor to leadership
- Develop or influence highly complex business and technical needs across groups and functions
- Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Corporate Real Estate experience within a large organization
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to align on a single recommendation
- Experience presenting to executive leadership
- Ability to influence decisions using facts and data
- Ability to interpret financial analysis of Real Estate transactions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies
- Advanced organizational skills
- Ability to provide oversight to program management oversight
- Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work on-site at the work location
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
- This role requires 10-20% travel annually
