Program Overview
The Early Careers Program is your gateway to an intensive experience in Corporate & Investment Banking. As a graduate analyst, you’ll build leadership skills, gain in-depth business knowledge, and develop a comprehensive understanding of Wells Fargo’s operations. Your journey begins with a robust training program in the United States, where you’ll join analysts from across the globe. This immersive training covers financial accounting, cash flow, credit analysis, product structuring, corporate valuation, and financial modeling. You’ll return equipped with the skills and insights needed to make an immediate impact.

The Banking business in APAC is a part of Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) franchise and is dedicated to supporting clients through a combination of products and services including Credit & Lending, Treasury Management, Debt Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Combining strong relationships and industry knowledge with superior capital markets and advisory capabilities, our team excels in delivering exceptional execution. Banking is organized across coverage and product teams in the region, covering Financial Institutions and Corporate clients.

The Role

Function as part of a team focused on helping clients achieve their financial and strategic goals. Non-exhaustive examples of tasks include:
Extensive interaction with clients
Supporting preparation for client meetings led by Relationship Managers as well as preparation of briefing materials for senior executive client visits.
Prompt and extensive follow-up after such meetings to ensure that these are logged, business momentum is maintained and deliverables completed.
Preparation of pitch materials in collaboration with product partners.
Analysis of the client’s business, including risks, challenges and potential opportunities.
Preparation of business cases to support allocation of Wells Fargo resources to relationships.
Support RMs in ensuring compliance with Know-Your-Client (KYC) documentation and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures; specific tasks include preparation of the relationship rationale section of client relationship memos.
Support the management of existing client relationships through the ongoing monitoring of industry trends, market activity, company news, financial statements, and performance
Take an active role in supporting Relationship Managers on risk issues, including articulating Relationship Managers insights into credit risks and managing progress of credit approvals; specific tasks include preparing the relationship rationale and management assessment for credit requests and deal approvals, and providing supporting analysis to assist Relationship Managers in credit recommendations.
Collaborate effectively with other Wells Fargo groups to meet holistic revenue targets, execute business plans, implement new business, and retain existing business.
Complete periodic professional development training as scheduled
Assist with deal closing including regulatory and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and pricing tools, such as Salesforce, Relationship Pricer etc.
Requirements
Final-year undergraduate (graduating between January – June 2026)
A record of academic excellence
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and/or stakeholders across geographies/levels both internally and externally
The role holder will be expected to be licensed with Dealing in Capital Markets Products that are Securities and Advising on Corporate Finance or Dealing in Securities, Advising on Securities, and Advising on Corporate Finance upon onboarding
Have the relevant right to work in Singapore
