About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking for a Business Execution Senior Manager role. As the Lead of Innovation for India CIB, you will lead a high-performing team aligned with the Global CIB Innovation group. This role requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver transformative AI-driven solutions across the organization.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience


Desired Qualification

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership, transformation, business execution, and AI solution development and implementation, demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Lead the India CIB Innovation team and drive alignment with global innovation initiatives.
  • Build and manage a team, collaborating closely with Technology, Product Managers, and Business to design and implement solutions across CIB.
  • Deliver AI projects that align with business objectives
  • Will lead and guide the team in integrating AI solutions across key business journeys—Client, Vendor, Market, and Lending
  • Act as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting scalable solutions and promoting data excellence.
  • Define and implement program-level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and methodologies while driving new initiatives and deliverables.
  • Manage risk exposure and create operational efficiencies for assigned initiatives.
  • Conduct strategic reviews and performance assessments, providing creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Establish best practices for AI/ML and oversee the AI lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Make decisions in complex, multifaceted situations and demonstrate ownership of end-to-end project management.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.
  • Manage resource allocation (people and financial) for Business Execution.
  • Foster a culture of talent development aligned with business objectives.
  • Deep knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking with exposure to products and asset classes.
  • Proven experience in AI/GenAI from ideation to solution development to implementation in CIB, with strong understanding of business use cases.
  • Experience in prompt engineering initiatives to standardize and scale AI-driven processes across the organization.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of AI/ML technologies, libraries, and tools. Demonstrates advance proficiency in leveraging Langchain, Langraph, and Model Context Protocol to architect scalable, context-aware AI solutions.
  • Experience with modern databases, cloud environments, and data ecosystems.
  • Has demonstrable experience in applying chunking, data vectorization, hallucination mitigation and retrieval-augmented generation techniques within language model workflows.
  • Substantial experience in the development and implementation of agentic AI solutions, contributing to the automation and enhancement of complex business operations.
  • Possesses practical experience with Document Intelligence and Agent space platforms to extract insights and enable intelligent automation.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles, including team building and management.
  • Ability to define and lead large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across complex organizational structures, fostering collaboration and adaptability.
  • Skilled in defining target states and developing actionable roadmaps.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to execute transformation projects and deliver initiatives to completion.
