About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant that manages critical deposit customer deepening marketing campaigns for the Business Banking Marketing Team. The main priority of the role is the development and implementation of the marketing plan and campaign strategy by promoting Wells Fargo deposit products to business owners via mail, email, online and in-branch bank advertising driving incremental business deposit growth.
This role sits within the Wells Fargo Consumer Banking and Lending business unit that serves customers across the country through online and digital channels, numerous retail branches, ATMs, and customer service centers. CBL is focused on innovating and transforming our business with customers at the center, better enabling them to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose through a broad suite of financial products and services.
The role will manage and execute end-to-end acquisition/deepening marketing campaigns across a functional team responsible for following a detailed campaign process involving target audience definition, test/learn agenda, creative development, channel execution, special offers, campaign timelines, measurement and overall campaign optimization/enhancements.
This person must be influential in leading campaign resources, both internal and external, while also being able to collaborate and communicate effectively with other marketing leaders and partners across the enterprise.
This role is critical in helping Business Banking deliver on new deposit customer growth and deepening while driving opportunities to scale, improving customer experience and profitability.

In this role, you will:
Build and manage deposit deepening campaigns, with email, digital, mail and in-branch channels, that promote Wells Fargo Business Deposit business products.
Test/learn and optimize deepening marketing campaign budget across multiple campaigns with the objective of achieving customer deepening goals and ROI objectives.
Manage across matrixed-team of data analysts, channel partners, legal, compliance, creative agencies, banker readiness and operations employees to achieve campaign goals.
Track macro-economic trends, business environment, competitor strategies, promotions, pricing, and recommend pivots in direct marketing campaigns, when appropriate.
Collaborate with Marketing Science Team and Business Banking team to forecast campaign results, author business cases, and publish campaign reporting packages that records the financial performance of the campaigns.
Provide ongoing performance updates to Business team and Head of Business Deepening Marketing, Marketing Executives, and other C-suite level executives.
Ideate for breakthrough marketing concepts that will improve response rates and lower the campaign cost per account
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience leading marketing strategy and campaign execution with a focus on customer engagement/portfolio management, performance marketing, and multiple marketing channels (direct mail and digital)
Proven success refining campaign strategy, including pivots in customer targeting, offer selection, creative execution, and messaging
Knowledge of business banking products, retail banking, and/or small business customer segment
Analytical understanding of marketing campaigns, A/B testing, incremental lift, Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI)
Campaign management and execution experience, ideally within in Aprimo or similar campaign management tool
Ability to direct creative teams to develop marketing campaign assets
Must be able to successfully navigate a matrixed environment
Highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience in retail banking, preferably Small and Business Banking
Strong presentation development skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
