About this role:

The RIA Solutions Relationship Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with brokerage staff. This individual serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. The role requires frequent interaction with brokerage staff to understand their needs, provide solutions, and resolve issues effectively.

You will be the “go-to” person for RIAs, capable of de-escalating situations, answering complex questions, and delivering exceptional service. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage complex initiatives, resolve escalations, and provide strategic solutions that drive growth and satisfaction.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage key brokerage relationships and lead complex initiatives regarding servicing, support and growth

  • Provide daily support and resolution of issues to ensure satisfaction

  • Strategize brokerage needs and provide effective solutions

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements

  • Maintain and analyze complex business, operational, or technical assignments that involve research and evaluation

  • Provide effective communication and exceptional and complex understanding of the line of business platform

  • Recommend solutions to solve operational needs and exercise independent judgment to manage relationships

  • Manage projects, troubleshoot issues, develop business solutions and follow up to ensure satisfaction

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Relationship experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to navigate complex organization structures and influence without direct authority.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Experience working in the financial industry or brokerage industry.

  • “Concierge” experience when working with clients, delivering personalized and high-touch service.

  • Demonstrated strength in relationship management, strategic thinking, and client-centric service delivery.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations effectively.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills combined with solid project management and organizational capabilities


Job Expectations:

  • Primary point of contact to intake, coordinate and advocate on behalf of RIAs for resolution of operational and service escalations.

  • Provide RIAs general support direction on run the business items.

  • Connect RIAs with other WIM and/or Wells Fargo service teams when appropriate

  • Partner across the organization to resolve complex issues

  • Follow enterprise guidelines related to in-person office work schedule. Currently, hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-person/week) - this is subject to change in the future​

  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents
