About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Shared Services Operations Strategy & Transformation (SSO S&T) - Critical Solutions & Initiatives team. The team is responsible for execution of the SSO strategy and transformation driving timely and sustainable execution and resolution of critical and high-priority initiatives and all self-, risk-, audit-, and regulatory-identified issues in alignment with the organization’s target operating model. This role will be responsible for executing change in a scalable way as the work will directly impact the 6,300 team members of Shared Services Operations and all five Business Groups supported by SSO.

In this role, you will:

Specifically, the SSO S&T - Critical Solutions & Initiatives Senior Lead will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing a strategy to drive resolution of critical and high-priority strategic initiatives supporting senior leaders within SSO and confirming processes are in place to ensure leadership is informed of progress, watch items, and escalations

  • Design detailed plans to support execution of initiatives and corrective actions to promote quality and timely delivery of commitments

  • Develop and implement a methodology to drive consistent execution of corrective actions of in-scope issues and initiatives specific to the assigned SSO portfolio.

  • Establish, lead, and manage governance routines to drive execution and coordinate representation and input from impacted Business Groups, Control, Technology, Independent Risk Management, Legal and Audit.

  • Establish, or contribute to, reporting to inform senior leaders of the progress made on strategic initiatives and escalate challenges to completing initiatives as required.

  • Identify best practices within assigned portfolio and share with other colleagues to enhance SSO execution.

  • Collaborate internally with business partners, frontline control, Financial Crimes, Independent Risk Management (IRM), and Audit partners.

  • Lead the development and creation of executive level presentations and executive summaries. Effectively deliver key messages to business and operations senior leadership.

  • Lead ongoing business routines including strategic planning and other items as assigned by the business manager. Drive consistency and quality of execution eliminating opportunities for repeat problems.

  • Lead both planned and ad-hoc strategic analyses as assigned by the Business Manager.

  • Lead through influence, often without direct authority, persuading through use of data and facts.

  • Adjust and adapt to the rolling, day-to-day changes that transpire in the running of Programs/initiatives/business routines.

Successful delivery will directly impact client and employee experience, allow the Bank to comply with internal procedures, enterprise policies, and regulatory commitments in a scalable way, and significantly reduce operating risk and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives, including people, process, and technology optimization.

  • Strong expertise in strategic execution disciplines, including strategy development, consulting, and project management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple business groups, ensuring timely delivery of stated outcomes, key dependencies, and strategic benefits.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate appropriately to senior leadership.

  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, providing dedicated support to business leaders and fostering collaboration across internal and external teams.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, leveraging analytical tools to identify efficiency opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and driving alignment at all organizational levels.

  • Experience in target operating model design and implementation within Shared Services or similar environments is highly preferred.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
