About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Regulatory Operations supporting reporting and analytics solutions. Primary responsibilities for this role include business intelligence reports and dashboard development using data from multiple sources. Additional activities will include data analysis, data discovery, and consulting on automation solutions supporting Regulatory Operations teams.
In this role, you will:
Gather and use data to derive metrics; present the metrics clearly showing operational insights to help executives, managers, and frontline personnel take appropriate action to drive efficiency and mitigate risk
Partner with operations, controls, and technology to identify and deliver automation and AI solutions that help streamline workflows and improve cycle time, unit cost, and productivity.
Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong technical expertise in Power BI (cloud preferred), Fabric, Alteryx, SQL (Oracle, SQLServer, Teradata), and Python; Experience and knowledge of GCP and Starburst is a plus
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with proven experience defining unclear problems, testing assumptions, identifying root causes, and translating findings into options and recommendations
Ability to prioritize work, define and meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work in a dynamic and complex environment.
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
Experience mentoring and serving as a peer-coach to other analysts with the ability to transfer skills and knowledge to peers
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to facilitate conversation and/or influence audiences with different/limited technical backgrounds
Proven success building and maintaining strong credible relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
