About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Cloud Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, resilient, intelligent infrastructure solutions and excel in Kubernetes platform operations. You will play a key role in Openshift platform operations, driving automation, reducing operational toil, and leading continuous improvements for Kubernetes platform services.
In this role, you will:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native solutions using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- AI-Driven Operations: Leverage Artificial Intelligence and Python frameworks to identify and eliminate toil and build intelligent self-service solutions for internal teams.
- Linux Systems Engineering: Administer and optimize Linux-based environments across cloud platforms.
- Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with engineering teams, and development teams to create reusable automation patterns and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with best practices and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud and Kubernetes Platform Operations
- 2+ years experience in Linux system administration.
- 2+ years experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Experience with Openshift platform management
- Experience with Openshift ACM and GIT
- Experience with Jira, Grafana, Splunk and Github.
Job Expectations:
- Need to be available for on-call support
- This position requires working from one of the posted locations in a hybrid environment
- This position is not available for Visa sponsorship
