Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Saint Louis, MO.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Responsible for leading a team of software engineers responsible for developing new application features and assisting with the maintenance of existing applications. The role develops and implements complex web-based trading applications on one or more platforms. Acts as an escalation point for production troubleshooting guidance; supports training and mentoring to less experienced developers. May perform website and portal monitoring. Uses knowledge of web technologies to lead projects resulting in functional enhancements of web-based applications. Evaluates systems specifications and produces technical requirements, leads design presentations, influences direction and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Coordinates with systems partners outside the group and oversees contractors on software development projects. Uses programming tools to write scripts. Performs web security activities and participates in security planning. This is an individual contributor position and does not directly supervise. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
• 5 years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience;
• 2 years of web application development experience;
• 2 years of C#.NET experience;
• 2 years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node);
• 2 years of SQL experience;
• 2 years of Agile experience;
• 1 year of experience developing with Angular 7 and above application; and
• Experience with JAVA.
