About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Consultant - Learning Partner.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables
- Contribute to large scale planning related to functional area deliverables
- Manage implementation of complex learning and development solutions on a wide range of management and business development topics for various learning audiences through in the moment consultation, facilitation, or coaching sessions to ensure effectiveness of business and managerial styles
- Lead day to day project tasks and complex people development initiatives, managing implementation of development strategies and solutions
- Apply knowledge of all aspects of learning and development across many business disciplines to leverage the interconnectivity of various learning solutions and demonstrate the business impact of recommended solutions
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects and teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
- Consult with business leaders, human resources partners, instructional design team and management to develop an appropriate essential learning path to guide the development of an overarching learning plan that drives business unit performance
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- The incumbent should have proven L&D Partnering and consulting experience
- Expected to single-handedly lead the design and delivery of capability building efforts that are linked to key business priorities
- Should have managed learning for large businesses in a Multinational organization (Preferably Banking GICs)
- Should have strong experience in managing senior business leaders (SVP & above level)
- Requires strong applied instructional design skills
- Advance presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Program Management - Leadership Development includes communication, follow up with participants and stakeholders
- Any OD/Consulting experience is preferred

Design & Implementation of Complex Learning Solutions
- Senior L&D Consultants are expected to lead moderately complex to complex initiatives, not just support them:
- Design and implement leadership, manager, professional, technical, and future‑skills programs
- Deliver learning through multiple modalities:
- Instructor‑led (virtual & in‑person)
- Digital & blended learning
- In‑the‑moment consultation, facilitation, and coaching
- Leverage adult learning principles and enterprise learning platforms
- Integrate emerging focus areas such as GenAI readiness, critical thinking, and future skills
Measurement & Business Impact
- Impact measurement is a non‑negotiable expectation at this level:
Define success metrics tied to business and talent outcomes
- Measure:
- Program adoption and engagement
- Application of learning on the job
- Training‑to‑go‑live or capability uplift
- Use data and feedback to continuously refine learning solutions
- Clearly articulate the business value of learning investments
