About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to join our Data Strategy and Governance (DSG) team. This role will provide support an Application Business Owner (ABO) role for Home Lending applications and compliance with Enterprise policies related to both data and application management. The DSG team fulfills the Enterprise defined ABO role. ABO is a required role for all applications registered in the company’s Remedy Asset Management system. The Application Business Owner has a variety of roles and responsibilities which are not static. The ABO roles and responsibilities must adapt to changes in policy and application requirements, but at the heart of the role is a responsibility to drive compliance activities for their applications, included compliance with data management; application lifecycle management; records management; access management; information security; risk & regulatory reporting; business continuity; and RCSA policies


In this role, you will:

  • Manage requests and perform support functions that evidence compliance with 14+ Enterprise policies and procedures.

  • Build relationships with business partners at all levels both within and outside of Home Lending

  • Collaborate with functional business partners and management to provide support for initiative deliverables related to data management and risk mitigation.

  • Responsible for proactively identifying potential risks when implementing change and communicating risks to management.

  • Participate in cross-organizational initiatives to review, define, enhance, and document our processes, procedures, and controls.

  • Maintain stakeholder relations with key partner groups and various teams across the organization.

  • Collaborate in establishment and execution of program change management processes to support controls, implementation, and adoption

  • Collaborate in developing strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges that require solid analytical skills, knowledge of business execution, application inventory, and business units utilizing application inventory to deliver longer term and large-scale solutions

  • Lead team and stakeholder meetings to facilitate decision making and drive adoptions and adherence to program requirements

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data related tools: ADMF, Collibra, Ab Initio, JIRA, SHRP

  • Knowledge of and experience with key HL applications: MSP, LO SHAW, CORE, CMIE

  • Knowledge of RCSA Policy, COSO Policy, Data Management Policy and Procedures

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting Governance & Oversight Policy

  • Knowledge of Information Security Identity and Access Management Domain Policy

  • Knowledge of Records and Information Management Policy

  • Working knowledge of the audit life cycle, standards, practices and testing strategies

  • Ability to develop procedures and identify risks and controls.

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work in a dynamic and complex, matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management, in a geographically diverse organization.

  • Proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and maintain momentum which drive toward results and clarity in uncertain situations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Job Expectations:

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

  • Expected hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
