About this role:

Wells Fargo’s Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with software engineering experience developing front-end solutions that leverage modern UI frameworks and proper engineering practices.

The Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is responsible for delivering best-in-class platforms, services, and solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiencies for Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations throughout the enterprise.

This role will drive modernization and innovation with a deliberate focus on enabling and delivering cloud-native solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide hands-on technical knowledge around designing and engineering front-end solutions while leveraging UI frameworks/libraries, domain driven design principles and development driven testing.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance and streamline solution delivery across the enterprise.
  • Enable team success by sharing technical expertise, leading issue resolution efforts, executing integration testing, and ensuring thorough documentation of development activities.
  • The Senior Software Engineer must adopt and support a culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and openness.
  • Support complex engineering initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
  • Provide support in resolving coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
  • Produce high‑quality and maintainable front‑end code, implement robust testing strategies, and integrate with CI/CD workflows for automated building, testing and deployment.
  • Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
  • Enforce the adoption and implementation of modern design principles, standards and companywide best practices for engineering and implementing large-scale technology solutions.
  • Leverage your understanding of industry best practices and new technologies to influence and mentor other technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
  • Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost.
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
  • Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Frontend/Web Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of experience using Angular, ReactJS other Javascript frameworks.
  • 5+ years of experience in building, deploying, and implementing new solutions at scale using HTML, CSS and related UI technologies.
  • Experience with modern Cloud Platforms & DevOps including, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and tools such as Jenkins, Github and GitLab.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of building and deploying web applications along with cloud-native services, using JavaScript frameworks, build and testing frameworks and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • The candidate should have experience in designing, building, and delivering cloud-native, micro-services-oriented solutions at an enterprise scale for large financial services or other large, regulated sectors.
  • Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Python is considered a strong plus
  • Experience with Financial Crimes Operations such as AML, Fraud, and KYC.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
  • Delivery focused and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
  • Experienced in implementing risk and control requirements for cloud-native solutions.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
