Wells Fargo India & Philippines is primarily an extension of the technology, operations, and corporate support teams of Wells Fargo. It engages in application development and support, testing, other technology functions, international operations, knowledge support, and middle and back-end banking process solutions for a wide spectrum of Wells Fargo’s needs. It currently has offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Manila.
About the role:
The Communications Manager (Lead Communications Consultant) will be responsible for driving communications strategy in line with business imperatives. The individual will be responsible for helping create and drive a strategic internal communications plan to build the brand of the business group or enterprise function, in terms of its capabilities, successes, and priorities across India and the Philippines (I&P).
The individual will work closely with a group of seasoned professionals, reporting to the Lead for I&P Integrated Pool of Communicators, to ensure alignment with the I&P strategy, and will be part of a pool of communicators who support multiple business leaders to drive high-impact, high-value communications programs.
As needed, the candidate will help manage reputational issues, provide critical support in managing crisis communications, and will be a trusted advisor to the business group or enterprise function.
In this role, you will:
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to more experienced management
Develop and implement communications strategies to promote and protect Wells Fargo’s reputation
Advise more experienced management on communications strategy to drive business priorities, and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of a Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree or equivalent in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or other related discipline is an advantage
Candidate must have 5+ years of relevant experience driving communications in a large MNC, including experience as a people manager, leading a team of professionals.
Successful track record of working in close partnership with the leadership team, while being an integral part of the global corporate communications team.
Should have a deep understanding of communication techniques to drive business objectives.
Demonstrate excellent judgement and understanding of navigating complex situations in a matrix and multi-stakeholder environment with strong experience in change management and dealing with crises.
Job Expectations:
Candidate must be amenable to work on a mid-shift and be located at McKinley Hill, Taguig City
