About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Southeast Division within the National Branch Network. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Division Executive and broader Southeast Division leadership team. As the key finance partner, you will provide regular financial updates and review key management reports to drive insights and support executive decision making. Additionally, you will support regular business reviews across the division and provide key drivers, trends, and root causes across the Division’s business results.
In This Role, You will:
- Partner closely with the Division and Region executives to identify strategic priorities, operational objectives, and emerging opportunities for the division
- Support regular business reviews by preparing reporting and ensuring business leaders are familiar with their performance on key metrics and objectives
- Conduct financial analysis, identifying variances to budget, developing driver attribution, and root‑cause analysis to explain business outcomes and identify future business opportunities across the division
- Lead regular workforce planning meetings to ensure branches are meeting staffing targets and financial budgets
- Translate financial and operational data into clear, concise insights tailored for Division and National Branch Network leadership
- Maintain disciplined control and data governance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency across all Division financial deliverables and reporting
- Collaborate across Finance, Data & Analytics, and cross-functional business partners to resolve issues, support business initiatives, and contribute to a high-performing, connected Finance community
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated finance experience partnering with business leaders and driving business results
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with expertise in interpreting data and identifying underlying business drivers
- Prior experience with branch banking including familiarity with regular branch routines, management structure and key performance metrics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis into actionable business insights and direction
- High proficiency with reporting and analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI and Essbase
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear polished, presentation-ready materials for senior leadership
- Experience operating effectively in large, matrixed organizations and driving initiatives through collaboration and partnership
- Skilled at assessing stakeholder needs, building strong partnerships, and collaborating across diverse finance and management teams
Job Expectations:

- This position offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite presence required in our Charlotte location
- Ability to travel monthly - 20% as needed
