Step into a role where your leadership shapes one of Wells Fargo’s most significant, multi‑year transformation efforts. As a Senior Lead Technology Release Delivery Consultant, you’ll be at the center of a high‑visibility initiative modernizing the bank’s core Banking Operations—an effort that will redefine how millions of customers experience Wells Fargo.

In this position, you become the orchestrator of technology delivery across a complex, enterprise‑scale program. You will guide end‑to‑end execution of critical IT deliverables, ensuring every release is planned, sequenced, and delivered with precision and full awareness of operational impact. Your work directly influences the success of a sweeping transformation touching Operations, Product, and Technology teams across the company.

This is not a business process or product strategy role—this is the command center for technology alignment, dependency management, readiness planning, risk visibility, and executive‑level communication. It’s an opportunity to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to an initiative that will define the future of Banking Operations at Wells Fargo.

If you thrive in high‑stakes environments, enjoy orchestrating large‑scale change, and want your work to matter at an enterprise level, this role places you right where strategy becomes reality.

In This Role, You Will:

Technology Program Management:

  • Own the Technology program roadmap for Banking Operations Transformation, ensuring alignment across infrastructure, platforms, applications, security, and enterprise initiatives.

  • Serve as the single, accountable Technology program lead for Banking Operations Transformation across multiple delivery teams and platforms.

  • Establish and maintain Technology‑side governance, readiness gates, and escalation paths.

  • Represent Technology in cross‑functional planning and governance forums, ensuring Technology commitments are realistic, sequenced, and transparent.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence cross-product release plans of high complexity with significant dependencies across multiple products and/or teams within a product line or single product.

  • Coordinate timelines across Technology teams to prevent conflicting deployments or unmanaged risk.

  • Partner with Product and Operations leaders to align Technology delivery sequencing with business priorities and readiness needs.

  • Lead the strategy and creation of highly complex product releases requiring coordination and analysis across multiple products and/or teams.

  • Strategically engage with Business Services Leads, Delivery Leads, Product Owners, Technology Leads and Scrum Masters and serve as an expert advisor to Product Management and Technology Leadership.

Technology Risk Identification & Escalation:

  • Proactively identify emerging technology delivery, readiness, and adoption risks.

  • Translate technical risks into clear, business‑relevant narratives for Technology, Product, and Operations leadership.

  • Serve as the primary Technology escalation point for high‑risk or high‑impact Banking Operations Transformation initiatives, ensuring issues are owned and addressed by the appropriate Technology teams.

Executive Communication & Transparency:

  • Provide Technology‑focused executive reporting on Banking Operations Transformation delivery status, risks, dependencies, and readiness.

  • Ensure Technology leadership has early visibility into issues requiring decisions, trade‑offs, or investment.

  • Reduce reactive escalations by creating predictable, data‑driven insight into Technology execution.

Data-Driven Technology Program Management:

  • Leverage Technology data (incident trends, performance metrics, adoption signals, delivery health indicators) to assess risk and readiness.

  • Use data to inform prioritization, escalation, and mitigation decisions within the Technology portfolio.

  • Continuously mature Technology‑side program analytics to anticipate risk during major transformations, migrations, and security changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Technology Delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 5+ years of experience coordinating delivery across multiple Technology teams and platforms.

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise technology delivery, infrastructure, and security concepts.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Banking Operations, Contact Centers, or large operational environments.

  • Experience partnering effectively with Operations and Product stakeholders.

  • Background in enterprise transformations (e.g., cloud, security, platform modernization).

  • Experience operating as a senior individual contributor with broad organizational influence.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior and executive leadership.

Job Expectations and Core Values:

  • Be Humble: You're smart yet always interested in learning from others.

  • Work Transparently: You always deal in an honest, direct, and transparent way.

  • Take Ownership: You embrace responsibility and find joy in having the answers.

  • Show Gratitude: You show appreciation and respect to those you work with.

  • Ability to lead complex initiatives spanning multiple technologies and platforms.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving needs.

  • Own and maintain the Technology program roadmap for Banking Operations Transformation, ensuring alignment across platforms, initiatives, and delivery teams.

  • Provide single‑point Technology accountability for program sequencing, dependency management, readiness, and risk visibility.

  • Proactively identify and manage cross‑Technology dependencies that could impact delivery timelines or operational readiness.

  • Surface technology risks and readiness gaps early, escalating issues with clear data, context, and recommended paths forward.

  • Partner closely with Operations and Product leaders to understand business impact and readiness needs, while maintaining Technology ownership and accountability.

  • Ensure Technology initiatives are planned and executed with operational awareness, minimizing disruption to frontline teams.

  • Deliver clear, concise, and trusted executive‑level reporting on Technology delivery health, risks, and dependencies.

  • Reduce reactive escalations by creating predictable governance, disciplined planning, and proactive risk management.
