About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Additional Required Qualifications:

• 2+year's technical/development experience in Oracle Banking Payments/Corporate Banking.
• Technical and/or functional knowledge in banking modules - Banking Base, International Payments, Term Deposit.
• Technical Skills: • Core Java, J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, spring boot and spring
• Understanding of Unix, Web Services, rest services, configuration of Weblogic , JMS, MQ
• Hands on knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD) industry practices for Build & Deployment
• Understanding or hands on experience of Automated testing using Selenium or Cucumber
• 2+ year's experience in Design & development in MVC architecture by leveraging Spring Boot, web services, APIG etc
• Have developed and implemented JAVA based application.
• Good communication skills, should be able to convert design documentation to code and contribute to design and articulate the same with various global stake holders.
• Automation development for banking domain modules like Core banking, international payments.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML, concepts and usage

Job Expectations:

• Developer working in an Agile methodology on Oracle suite of Product
• Design, Develop, Support- Defect fix -UAT and Production issues for Oracle banking Payments.
• Work on DevOps tool like Github, Jenkins, UCD, Gradle to adhere to SCM practices.
• Participate in design discussion and work with leads and SME to deliver quality solutions to match the business needs
