About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital AI Product Manager to deliver high‑quality, customer‑facing features within Fargo, the virtual assistant in the Wells Fargo mobile app. In this role, you will own feature‑level execution from problem definition through delivery and measurement, partnering closely with a cross‑functional pod that includes Experience Design, Technology, Data, Risk, and Lines of Business.
You will translate customer needs and business priorities into clear product requirements, guide features through enterprise governance, and ensure solutions are delivered on time and perform as intended in production. This role also includes hands‑on ownership of GenAI‑powered features, including prompt creation and iteration, as well as monitoring usage, adoption, and business impact.
The ideal candidate is execution‑focused, comfortable operating in a regulated environment, and able to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Identify, strategize and execute highly complex Artificial Intelligence initiatives that span a line of business
- Recommend business strategy and deliver Artificial Intelligence enabling solutions to solve business challenges
- Define and prioritize cases, obtain the required resources and ensure the solutions deliver the intended benefits
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence expertise to evaluate technological readiness and resources required to execute the proposed solutions
- Make decisions to drive the implementation of Artificial Intelligence initiatives and programs while serving multiple stakeholders
- Resolve issues which may arise during development or implementation
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong AI & GenAI Product Management Expertise
Demonstrated experience delivering AI/GenAI powered features, including solution patterns, model lifecycle governance, and hands on prompt creation, tuning, and monitoring.
- Ability to Translate Ambiguous Problems into Clear Product Direction
Skilled at defining problem statements, success metrics, business value, and turning loosely scoped needs into actionable roadmaps, user centered features, and prioritized backlogs.
- Human-Centered Design & Customer Outcome Focus
Proven ability to translate customer insights and pain points into impactful product requirements and experience aligned solutions within digital channels (mobile/omnichannel).
- Effective Cross‑Functional Leadership in a Matrixed Organization
Comfortable partnering across XD, Technology, LOB, Legal, Risk, Data, and Compliance to sequence work, resolve dependencies, and drive delivery across multiple stakeholders.
- Clear, Executive‑Ready Communication Skills
Able to synthesize complex inputs into crisp decisions, tradeoffs, and presentation materials suitable for senior leadership and technical teams alike.
- End‑to‑End Delivery Ownership & Agile Execution
Experienced with Scrum/Kanban and delivery tools (Jira/Confluence), owning timelines, requirements, feature level execution, and production monitoring.
- Risk & Governance Mindset Within Regulated Environments
Comfortable navigating policy driven constraints, ensuring AI features meet governance standards, and proactively identifying and resolving risks during development.
- Organizational Change Leadership & Comfort with Ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to drive alignment, influence decision making, and lead change in dynamic, fastmoving environments while adapting to evolving priorities.
