About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager within the Global Payments and Liquidity product group. This role is responsible for owning business readiness and delivery outcomes for complex, multi‑system initiatives, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) leadership and product scope management. This role independently drives UAT strategy and execution while managing scope and defects, partnering across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance in a matrixed environment to ensure solutions are audit‑ready, risks are clearly communicated, and business, regulatory, and operational expectations are met with full accountability for quality and delivery through production release.
In this role, you will:
Product Ownership & Delivery:
- Own and manage domain‑level product scope, including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment to business outcomes and delivery timelines
- Partner with Technology, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure planned releases align with committed scope and sequencing
- Prioritize work within the domain, track delivery progress, and manage dependencies across multiple teams and applications
- Research, triage, and disposition defects, balancing delivery, risk, and business impact considerations
- Engage Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders to ensure solutions are business‑ready and compliant prior to production deployment
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end UAT execution for complex initiatives spanning multiple systems and delivery teams
- Develop and execute UAT strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to documented requirements and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate UAT working sessions, manage testing schedules, and coordinate data readiness and environment dependencies
- Oversee defect identification, documentation, prioritization, and resolution in partnership with Technology teams
- Produce UAT status reporting, defect metrics, and final test sign‑off documentation to support release and audit readiness
- Ensure UAT artifacts and approvals are properly documented and stored in approved repositories in accordance with policy
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Demonstrated experience leading UAT planning, execution, and defect management for complex, multi‑system initiatives
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban) with cross‑functional teams
- Proficiency with Jira and related tools for backlog management, testing, and defect tracking
- Proficiency with Octane (or ALM) and related tools for test script creation and execution
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting payments, treasury, or international banking platforms
- Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory considerations, and audit expectations in a large enterprise environment
- Ability to operate effectively in matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
