About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to support and service Asset Based Lending (ABL) portfolios covering Agency, Bought Participation, and Bilateral lending structures within Commercial Banking Operations. This role is responsible for independently processing moderately complex loan servicing activities, ensuring accurate execution, regulatory compliance, and strong customer outcomes across multiple deal structures.
The role requires a solid working knowledge of commercial lending platforms (such as: Loan IQ, LUCAS, STUCKEY, etc.) and ABL servicing processes, including agent bank responsibilities and participant servicing. The position collaborates closely with Line of Business (Relationship and Portfolio Management teams), Risk, and Technology partners and supports timely resolution of client issues, operational risks, and process gaps. This is an individual contributor role, with accountability for quality, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures.
In this role, you will:
- Provide servicing activities for low to moderately complex commercial products
- Coordinate all aspects of resolving open customer service issues and interact with internal and external customers
- Provide customer service, loan and regulatory diligence and ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
- Serve as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs
- Review and negotiate basic loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications
- Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues
- Provide guidance and training to peers
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing and/or Loan Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Loan IQ, LUCAS, STUCKEY, or equivalent commercial lending platforms.
- Working understanding of Asset Based Lending products, Agency and Participation loan servicing concepts, collateral structures, and servicing workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to ensure accurate and timely processing across multiple deal structures.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of loan documentation and ability to interpret key elements of Legal Credit Agreements, including agency and participation provisions.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and issue‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Job Expectations:
Asset Based Lending (ABL) Servicing – Agency, Participation & Bilateral
- Independently process servicing activities for moderately complex Asset Based Lending facilities, including Agent‑led deals, Bought Participations, and Bilateral loans.
- Support servicing of revolving credit facilities, term loans, borrowing base‑driven structures, and collateral‑based facilities.
- Execute assigned loan servicing activities to ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with credit agreements and servicing standards.
- Review and process:
o Interest, fees, principal activity, and repricing events
o Amendments, waivers, renewals, and restructurings
o Borrowing base updates, collateral‑driven changes, and availability calculations - Identify servicing exceptions, data inconsistencies, or documentation gaps and escalate in a timely manner to ensure resolution.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and service‑level expectations while processing customer, system, or operational requests.
- Identify potential system, data, or process gaps and raise recommendations for procedural improvements or control enhancements.
- Adhere to and support updates of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system documentation aligned to ABL servicing.
- Complete onboarding milestones and role readiness requirements within defined timelines.
- Apply training, procedural guidance, and system knowledge to daily processing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and risk mitigation.
- Support knowledge‑sharing initiatives by providing feedback, participating in peer learning, and contributing to documentation updates.

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Line of Business, Control & Risk, Technology, and upstream/downstream operations teams to support effective ABL loan servicing outcomes.
- Coordinate resolution of assigned customer service requests involving internal teams and external counterparties.
- Collaborate with peers and senior specialists to resolve issues and meet daily and monthly deliverables.
- Support processing deadlines, cutoff requirements, and end‑of‑day activities to ensure accurate and complete servicing output.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within ABL Operations through disciplined execution and constructive feedback.
