About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Analyst


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in low to moderate complexity data product initiatives and identify opportunities for data roadmap improvements within scope of responsibilities that drive data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities

  • Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives to drive low to moderate-risk data enablement strategies, roadmaps, and deliverables

  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex data product situations, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners that impact prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design

  • Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and prioritization and ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance

  • Manage low to moderate-complexity datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance and standards

  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of data product roadmaps with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities

  • Gather data requirements and document data needs from a variety of sources throughout the data product life cycle

  • Communicate low to moderate complexity data problems and initiatives in a digestible manner to all audiences


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Desired Qualifications:

      • MBA / CA / CMA / CFA with 2+ years post‑qualification experience
      • Mandatory experience in Technology Finance and Technology Expense Allocations
      • Strong background in FP&A, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytics
      • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting financial insights
    • Specific focus on allocation methodologies for technology indirect expenses
    • Analyze metrics that quantify the value technology generates for products and services across Wells Fargo
    • Provide analysis on drivers for labor, non-labor and infrastructure expenses
    • Provide transparency and actionable insights on technology spend based on consumption
    • Create reports to show technology allocations to businesses with ability to parse out expense cuts
    • Lead technology expense allocations across labor, non‑labor, and infrastructure
    • Design and manage allocation methodologies for indirect technology expenses
    • Deliver budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
    • Provide consumption‑based transparency on technology spend and cost drivers
    • Prepare senior management review decks with strong financial storytelling
    • Identify expense optimization and efficiency opportunities
    • Support month‑end close, actuals, forecasts, and ad‑hoc financial analysis
    • Partner closely with Technology, Finance, and Business teams
    • Job Expectations :
    • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
    • Power BI (mandatory); other BI / workflow tools preferred
    • Strong understanding of data lineage, data quality, and reporting architecture
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
