About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Market Research Consultant who will support Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) and Wells Fargo. This role will collaborate on key programs to assess customer engagement and satisfaction as well as ad hoc research projects and competitive intelligence to discover insights focused on strategic initiatives, product development, communication development, and deep consumer understanding. This individual will be integral to developing and managing relationships with key business partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult with business partners to understand business strategies and challenges

  • Collaborate and influence decision-making with actionable recommendations

  • Develop learning agendas and design research programs to address business needs

  • Manage research programs from requesting vendor proposals to executing market research programs (qualitative and quantitative) and delivering compelling insights to drive business decisions

  • Stay abreast of research technique advances while complying with and adhering to all regulations and internal policies related to research execution

  • Work with and coordinate with other insights groups

  • Leverage communication skills to prepare tailored communications and professional presentations

  • Delivering findings along with recommendations to business partners at all management levels

  • Provide day-to-day management of external research vendors, internal partners, and consultants engaged to execute projects

  • Manage external research vendors to ensure quality, on-time delivery of research programs

  • Collaborate with insights leadership to recommend future research and knowledge development opportunities

  • Adhere to all risk and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with market research or managing research programs that are held to strict regulations and internal policies

  • Experience with a variety of market research methods, both qualitative and quantitative

  • Experience connecting primary research to analytic models in collaboration with data teams and synthesizing disparate information into strategic insights

  • Experience with working effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with vendor partners, leadership, and peers

  • Experience with focusing on outcomes and sustainable value by applying critical thinking, data analysis, and innovation to identify priorities and deliver results

  • A BS/BA degree

  • Financial industry experience

  • Knowledge or understanding of the Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management business

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Facile in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
