About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our CCIBT Organization and of Collateral and Margin Management Technology team working on Platforms Modernization & Regulatory/Compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate would have very strong technical knowledge of Java and a solid foundation of server design methodologies. Successful applicant will help enhance, build, and deliver frameworks and business application micro services.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
Lead, design, develop, test, and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
Resolve coding, testing, and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature Led team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Mentor less experienced software engineers
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience in Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices, SQL and NoSQL
3+ year of experience in Capital Markets Technology working on building solutions in any of the following areas (Pricing & Risk Management, Trade lifecycle, Sales & Trading, Prime services or Securities Clearing and Settlements) •
2+ years of experience in React.js
2+ years of experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift
2+ years of experience in Apache Kafka/Confluent Enterprise
2+ years of Experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.
1+ years of experience building and using AI MCPs and Agents.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or equivalent
2+ Years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
Knowledge of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) is a HUGE PLUS
2+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience
2+ Years of Experience in Blue Green Deployment Model
2+ years working in OpenShift Container Platform
2+ years working in Micro Front End Architecture
2+ years using SQL Server/MongoDB
2+ years of experience working Domain Driven Development

Must be based in one of the above locations or willing to relocate at your own expense.

This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule, 3 days onsite.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00Benefits
