Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to join the CIB Risk Strategy, Planning & Governance (SP&G) team in Bengaluru, India. This role supports business management execution across headcount and business financial management, enable business reviews with leaders, builds dashboards and automation to drive insight and efficiency, and partners with leaders to deliver strong executive communication and employee engagement outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a COO office, Chief of Staff role, business execution, communications, consulting, or similar functions.
- Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong experience in data visualization.
- Knowledge of tools like power BI, power apps, SharePoint, etc. will be added advantage
- Experience preparing presentations for Senior Executives, Boards of Directors, and CEO‑level audiences.
- Proven ability to present to senior management and articulate key messages and impacts to business objectives in a clear and straightforward manner.
- Ability to create executive‑ready presentations, dashboards, and written updates that synthesize complex data into insights, risks, and recommendations.
- Strong partnership skills, collaborating with SP&G leaders, Finance, HR, Risk, and global stakeholders to align narratives, manage dependencies, and drive outcomes.
- Clear, concise, and initiative-taking communication across forums (MBRs, QBRs, and ad‑hoc leadership requests).
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and perform under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Familiarity with user research and usability testing.
- Excellent client‑facing skills, including the ability to listen, discuss, defend, and persuade using strong principles and rationale.
- Demonstrated ability to self‑manage and work collaboratively.
- Detail‑oriented, results‑driven, and able to navigate a fast‑changing, high‑demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of risk management framework, control and governance principles and the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business
Job Expectations:
- Prepare financial budgets and forecasts and lead expense reduction initiatives through end‑to‑end execution.
- Support the preparation and presentation of executive‑level materials, including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Perform headcount and resource management and reporting.
- Implement efficiencies through process streamlining and automation; leverage on AI/ML solutions.
- Develop comprehensive monitoring frameworks and dashboards, providing statistically sound diagnostics to identify emerging or unexpected risk areas and support faster decision‑making.
- Develop key risk, financial, and control dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau, and/or SAS Visual Analytics.
- Design and maintain data flows, process flows, and governance documentation in compliance with the CIB Risk governance framework.
- Perform and document cross‑functional risk assessments, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and credibly challenge frontline control enhancements.
- Lead cross‑program and cross‑group analytics to identify opportunities and best practices that strengthen risk management across the business.
- Contribute to shaping the Risk function’s business strategy through global partnerships that drive efficiency, optimize utilization, and support career progression.

- Enable the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Risk Strategy, Planning & Governance (SP&G) group, working within the team responsible for Business Operations.
- Work with the SP&G team to understand their vision and business objectives, then synthesize that information into CEO‑ and Board‑ready executive presentations that cast the vision for the future of the group.
- Build executive‑level presentations on an ad‑hoc basis for the SP&G team to use with executives and the broader CIB Risk organization to provide relevant business updates.
- Engage with SP&G and other teams across the CIB Risk organization to solve complex business problems by gathering large amounts of information and synthesizing it into clear, executive‑level recommendations.
