About this role:
The Data Solutions Architect Manager within the Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for leading a team of Data Architects that that support technology strategies. This role will partner across the organization to help drive implementation of the enterprise data strategy in alignment with defined standards and patterns. The individual in this role will be responsible for evaluating requirements, consulting with stakeholders and helping to drive architecture designs and documentation for the development of data applications. In addition, they will help to evangelize the enterprise data strategy and contribute to its ongoing evolution.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop teams of individual contributors or managers in roles with moderate complexity that develop portfolio, product and product area architecture that covers current, interim and target state architecture
- Develop and influence strategic plans and execution on cutover strategies to target
- Drive transformation portfolio book of work towards cloud native technologies
- Drive target investments towards target technologies and rationalize spend, total cost of ownership, return on investment, payback period and net present value
- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of the team to meet moderate to high-risk architecture oversight, compliance, and risk management deliverables for supported areas
- Provide regulatory support
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Technology Architecture & Engineering
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of technology architecture and engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building data solutions to solve business problems
- Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, architecture and principles
- Strong working knowledge of AI and its impact on data systems
- Experience working with Archimate and/or TOGAF modeling methodologies
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to present to all levels of staff and management
Job Expectations:

Ability to work on-site in one of the listed locations in a hybrid model. There is no option for fully remote work.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
