About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a customer-centric Executive Director – Senior Lead Product Manager (Individual Contributor) to support the build and evolution of our next-generation Supply Chain Finance (SCF) platform. This role requires a strong platform product manager with deep experience across APIs, modernization efforts and AI/ML capabilities.

Partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Risk, Operations, Data, and Business stakeholders, you will translate strategy into clear, actionable platform roadmaps and backlogs, leading multiple agile delivery squads to ship scalable, secure, and AI-enabled capabilities that elevate client experience and business outcomes.

This role sits within the Commercial Bank’s Supply Chain Finance business and is integral to driving the SCF platform’s end-to-end, modernized architecture and outcomes.


In this role, you will:

Own Platform Foundations Product Strategy, Backlog & Outcomes

  • Own and drive the platform foundations product roadmap, translating strategy into a prioritized backlog of epics, features, APIs, and user stories aligned to modernization, AI/ML enablement, and scalability.
  • Establish and track product goals, KPIs, and OKRs, ensuring delivery aligns to business objectives, regulatory expectations, and risk controls.
  • Lead delivery of API-first, reusable capabilities supporting internal and external consumers.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to shape architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and sequencing for modernization and AI-native capabilities.

Enable AI‑Native & Data‑Driven Capabilities

  • Champion AI/ML use cases across the SCF platform, partnering with data science, engineering, and risk teams to ensure responsible, governed adoption.
  • Embed experimentation, measurement, and learning loops into platform delivery to maximize value from data and AI investments.

Enable High‑Velocity, High‑Quality Execution

  • Lead and influence sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews) across multiple squads to ensure clarity, alignment, and quality.
  • Coordinate dependencies across platform, channel, and product teams to deliver cohesive, omni-channel solutions on a modern SCF platform.

Anchor on Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Integrate SDLC, governance, policy, and control requirements into platform design, APIs, and release processes.
  • Ensure transparent documentation, auditability, and risk alignment throughout the product lifecycle.

Elevate Team Craft & Engineering Partnership

  • Model strong product–engineering partnership, fostering shared accountability for architecture, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Champion modern product management, platform thinking, and continuous improvement across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience managing backlogs for agile delivery teams, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and leading feature acceptance.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with engineering on complex platform or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Supply Chain Finance, or other complex B2B platforms.
  • Deep experience with digital/banking platform, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and governance integration.
  • Exposure to or leadership of AI/ML-enabled products or platforms.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Accounting background, knowledge, or professional experience strongly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead across multiple scrum teams and complex cross-functional environments.
  • Strong customer discovery, insight synthesis, and metrics-driven prioritization skills (OKRs/KPIs).


Job Expectations:

  • Travel: 10%
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
  • Willingness to work on-site at one of the stated locations.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
