About This Role

The Senior Business Execution Consultant supports the execution of complex business initiatives and programs across multiple business groups. This role is responsible for leading and delivering strategic, operational, and execution‑focused initiatives that require strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration. The consultant serves as a key execution partner to business leaders, ensuring initiatives are planned, implemented, and delivered efficiently while aligning to business objectives, risk management expectations, and organizational priorities.

In This Role, You Will…

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large‑scale strategic initiatives

  • Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness of solutions and execution for assigned initiatives

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives requiring analytical skills and an understanding of organizational strategy and Business Execution

  • Work independently to make recommendations and provide execution leadership for assigned programs and initiatives

  • Assist in the planning and execution of initiatives related to risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and customer experience

  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders and cross‑functional partners to develop and implement project plans, policies, and procedures

  • Provide leadership in managing relationships and executing programs, services, and initiatives with internal and external business partners

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to independently research, analyze, and support moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives

  • Demonstrated experience owning and executing business controls, including documentation, monitoring, issue identification, and remediation support

  • Experience supporting audit and risk management activities, including responding to audit requests, providing evidence, and partnering with risk, compliance, or audit teams

  • Experience collaborating and consulting with cross‑functional partners to support planning and execution of initiatives

  • Proven ability to provide execution support and recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of business outcomes

  • Experience working in a scaled agile framework or agile delivery environment (e.g., SAFe or similar), supporting execution of initiatives across multiple teams or workstreams

  • Experience supporting business applications related to lead management, referral processes, customer engagement, or similar business workflows

  • Ability to perform data analysis to support business execution, including interpreting trends, identifying insights, and informing execution decisions

  • Experience partnering with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into execution plans and outcomes

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Effectively partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to support timely decision‑making and execution outcomes

  • Apply analytical thinking and sound judgment to support moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives

  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with business partners and leadership, including status updates and issue tracking

  • Operate with a risk‑aware mindset, ensuring work aligns with policy, regulatory expectations, and business controls

  • Adapt to changing business priorities while maintaining execution discipline and accountability

Job Expectations:

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
