About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to drive the evolution of Card and Personal Loan shopping capabilities, shaping how customers discover, evaluate, and select the right products across digital channels. This role owns the end-to-end product vision and execution for critical shopping experiences that sit at the intersection of customer experience, risk, marketing, and platform strategy. You will lead highly complex, cross‑product initiatives and partner closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, legal, compliance, and risk teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer‑centric solutions. This is a strategic product leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, influences senior stakeholders, and builds platforms that enable both near-term impact and long-term optionality.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Card and Personal Loan shopping capabilities, including discovery, comparison, eligibility, and offer decisioning experiences across web and mobile channels.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, framing complex trade-offs across growth, customer experience, risk, and technology to accelerate high-quality decisions.
  • Design and evolve platform capabilities that enable reuse, consistency, and speed-to-market across Card and Lending products, including shared APIs, decisioning services, and front-end patterns.
  • Partner deeply with risk, legal, and compliance teams to embed controls, disclosures, and eligibility logic directly into product design—balancing innovation with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Build structured decision frameworks that enable productive debate, clarify options, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product strategies, epics, and roadmaps, ensuring teams understand not just what to build, but why.
  • Champion strong product and agile discipline, using metrics and outcomes (e.g., conversion, approval confidence, funnel performance, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data, experimentation, and test‑and‑learn approaches to optimize shopping and conversion experiences over time.
  • Mentor and elevate product talent, modeling strong product thinking, stakeholder engagement, and customer-centered decision making.
  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of a product operating model and experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in Financial Services with an emphasis in Consumer Lending or Personal Loans
  • Experience with agile practices and tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience with large scale Technology platforms with integrated APIs, microservices and dependent third-party providers
  • Experience in operational excellence (DMAIC approach to problem solving and implementing continuous improvement for the Customer)
  • Experience in driving change at large organizations Top tier Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior executive leadership.
  • Understanding of data-driven product development and performance measurement.
  • Exposure to AI/ML models for conversion/balance deepening optimization.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Strong risk management skills, including experience with being a process and/or control ownership.
  • Ability to influence and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment and work successfully within a matrix structure.
  • High EQ to help influence a broad constituency of stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
  • Exceptional problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results

Candidate will be expected to work onsite from one of the stated locations listed in the job posting on a hybrid schedule.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
