Global Payments Technology (GPLT) organization is seeking an experienced senior technology manager for leading Payments. Payments services provide critical Payment's workflows for domestic and international payment types. The technology manager will manage key application design, development, support, and end to end lifecycle management for Treasury Management customers and other Lines of business.

Key Role for Tech Manager:

  • Lead and deliver complex initiatives in an agile environment to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems; act as a Payments Domain Subject Matter Expert and a Thought Leader in developing innovating solutions to advance business and technical capabilities
  • Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
  • Establish a clear vision and set strategic direction to enhance the efficiency, reliability and supportability of the applications while mitigating any potential impacts to the customer
  • Exhibit strong technical skills and the ability to grasp new concepts and help lead team design discussions on strategic roadmaps.
  • Responsible for application availability and stability across the application suite. Lead design, development, support, vulnerability management, risk and control management, deliver on enterprise and business initiatives.
  • Deliver on Key critical commitments and meet OKR established for the organization
  • Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
  • Manage team members (US/ dotted line India), establish delivery cadences, and meet all target commitments
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Innovate and Implement AI Driven Solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Business, Risk, Architecture, Platform and Enterprise Management

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical and business analysis, with a strong focus on payments initiatives; experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable
  • 2+ years of Cloud-native technologies and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Having Payments domain or prior experience a huge plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data. Experience applying AI for data analysis is a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and prepare clear and concise documentation
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive consensus on solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Demonstrated technical experience and hands on experience to help be a key driver in all architectural decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse, geographically distributed team
  • Experience with production support teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing application environment including leading high visibility production incidents where SLAs are crucial to business success

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$191,000.00 - $305,000.00
