About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the CAO Data, Analytics, and Insights (DAI) team in India, providing dedicated regional leadership and enabling execution of critical CAO-wide data and analytics priorities. This role is instrumental in advancing how data is leveraged across CAO business functions to drive informed, data-driven decision-making at scale.
This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing data management, analytics, and business intelligence strategies, driving innovation and delivering measurable business impact. The position requires deep expertise in advanced analytics, data strategy, data management, and emerging technologies, coupled with the ability to lead complex initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and individual contributors spanning Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics to drive commercial value for CAO and the Wells Fargo lines of business.
- Develop and execute a strategic data roadmap to standardize and operationalize data management and data product integrity practices across all CAO data products.
- Drive the design of scalable enterprise-wide visualization solutions that generate actionable insights for Wells Fargo’s Business Groups & Enterprise Functions based on CAO data.
- Lead complex, cross-functional data and analytics initiatives, ensuring the delivery of intuitive, user-centric dashboards & visualizations that enable decision-making at all levels.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise data management policies and procedures
- Influence and partner with senior stakeholders, providing strategic consultation and translating data into actionable insights and business outcomes.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and talent development, fostering engagement and continuous performance improvement across the team
- Champion innovation in data product design, leveraging best practices to enhance data accessibility and enable advanced analytics and AI capabilities.
- Drive adoption of data, insights, and performance metrics, embedding a data-driven decision-making culture across the CAO organization
- Optimize allocation of human and financial resources, ensuring delivery of strategic priorities and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- Management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with BI visualization and data tools including PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Starburst and Alteryx.
- Advanced analytics and business insights capabilities, with demonstrated success in delivering scalable and intuitive analytics solutions in large enterprise
- Strong understanding of financial services operating environments and risk frameworks
- Hands-on experience operating and optimizing data management routines within cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven ability to identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and data quality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across all levels, driving alignment and delivering measurable business outcomes
